Please support my challenge to protect Aussie wildlife!

I’m Walking on the Wild Side because Australian native animals urgently need our help – and I’m hoping you’ll support me!

By taking on the challenge this April, I’m raising vital funds to provide emergency rescue and care for injured, orphaned and displaced native animals.

I’ll be helping to keep the WIRES Wildlife Rescue Office open 24/7, so injured animals receive a swift emergency rescue, when every minute truly counts. Our funds will also help resource their fleet of Wildlife Ambulances, and support their thousands of volunteers with training, rescue equipment and daily wildlife food!

Please sponsor me generously. Together we'll provide critical rescue and care for thousands of distressed native animals over the coming months, giving them a second chance of life in the wild. Thank you!

Hi all,

I thought I’d write a post with some info about the trails I’ve been walking for this fundraiser for whomever may be interested. Firstly, however, I’d like to thank you for your kind and generous donations towards my fundraising goal. I am grateful for your support and in supporting me, helping Wires to care for our beautiful wildlife. I have been exploring the various trails within the Kinchina Conservation Park located on the outskirts of Murray Bridge. Each trail offers something unique in terms of the natural landscape, scenery and history of this area. With creative names such as the ‘Getaway Car Loop’ and the ‘Jailbreak Trail’, my inquisitive mind has made it a side quest to uncover the meaning behind each name, led by subtle clues and symbolism whilst walking each trail. Additionally, I have enjoyed observing the diverse beauty of Mother Nature and taking in her healing power as I walk in peaceful solitude. I have encountered various animal friends along the way including kangaroos, shingleback lizards, an array of bird species and the odd possum. Nearly at the half way mark and looking forward to continue exploring whilst contributing to a greater cause 🥰
