Please support my challenge to protect Aussie wildlife!
I’m Walking on the Wild Side because Australian native animals urgently need our help – and I’m hoping you’ll support me!
By taking on the challenge this April, I’m raising vital funds to provide emergency rescue and care for injured, orphaned and displaced native animals.
I’ll be helping to keep the WIRES Wildlife Rescue Office open 24/7, so injured animals receive a swift emergency rescue, when every minute truly counts. Our funds will also help resource their fleet of Wildlife Ambulances, and support their thousands of volunteers with training, rescue equipment and daily wildlife food!

My Updates
1 more sleep until CHOCOLATE
Sunday 5th Apr Easter Saturday!I’m not really sure what Easterness happens on a Saturday except for the anticipation of a sugar high for millions of kids… at least that’s what I was like back then lol
These days, not really a chocolate or sweets fan.
Unless it’s vegan then I might have a piece or two.
But let’s get in to today!
I switched up locations to the gorgeous local park, where I often take my dogs for a play and this time just did quite laps with podcast in my ears.
It’s a great way to help navigate the time as well
5km done & dusted!!
Remember to leave carrots out for Easter Bunny
Be good, 💚 you, see you tomorrow!

IT BEGINS!
Wednesday 1st Apr So today started off well! I took my two dogs with me for our first lap (1.5km)I’ve cooper (labrador) & rocket (blue heeler)
I’ve found breaking up the day helps
Eg; morning & afternoon.
The evening walk was 2 laps bringing today’s total to 4.5km in 90minutes.
I hadn’t given social media much though. But it might be a cool way to post daily updates from the walk as we work towards $1,000 & 150km
Thank you all to have donated! Your support means the absolute world!
Be good, 💚 you, see you tomorrow!
