I'm fundraising for WIRES Wildlife Rescue so they can help rescue, rehabilitate and protect vulnerable Australian native animals including Greater Gliders.
You tax-deductible donations will help WIRES keep their Wildlife Rescue Line open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and provide Emergency Rescue and Care for almost 140,000 native animals in distress every year.
About Greater Gliders
Greater Gliders are one of the world's biggest gliding mammals. They rely on large hollows in old growth forest that take over 60-80 years to form to survive. Due to a combination of the effects of habitat destruction, logging, fires and climate change they were declared endangered in July 2022.
Protecting the old growth forest they rely on as well as providing nest boxes that serve like hollows for them can help to preserve this species.
