WIRES BRANCHES

THE WIRES NETWORK

The WIRES network consists of over 28 branches across NSW. Branches are responsible for rescuing, caring for, and rehabilitating wildlife in their respective areas. Over the last few years, many branch areas have been heavily impacted by unprecedented, catastrophic weather events. Bushfires, floods, and environmental issues are posing new challenges to wildlife, which are putting more strain on branch rescue teams. All funds raised by you will go directly to your allocated branch to provide vital rescue and care for wildlife in desperate need.

Why our wildlife need your help

Australia is facing a wildlife crisis. With over 1,000 native species now threatened with extinction, time is of the essence if we wish to preserve our much loved species such as the Koala. With environmental pressures putting a strain on wildlife, and posing new risks to the health of species, every native animal WIRES rescues, rehabilitates and returns back to the wild will go a long way to helping to halt this extinction crisis. By doing your bit in your local community, you will be supporting your community WIRES volunteers who work tirelessly to keep native species in your area, abundant. Every sick, injured and orphaned native animal deserves a chance to have access to the best treatment and to have a second chance again of life in the wild. Will you help give them that chance?
