This April, we are taking part in Walk on the Wild Side to support our scaly, furry and feathered friends.
Australian native animals are in crisis. More than 1,900 of our plant and animal species are threatened with extinction, including our iconic koalas, which are now endangered in many parts of Australia.
Our team is conquering this challenge to raise funds for WIRES to give sick, injured and orphaned native animals their second chance of life in the wild.
Every year, WIRES responds to 150,000 urgent calls for help and assistance for animals in distress.
Your donation will make sure they can continue to rescue, rehabilitate and release native animals in distress, giving them a second chance of life in the wild.

You all do a wonderful job. I am an old aged pensioner, who is turning 80 in May this year. As well as WIRES, I have a few charities (7 all up), that I like to be able to give donations to at least 3 times during the year. I would like to be able to donate more often, but being on a pension, I have to spread my payments out each year. Thank you for what you do. Carol McCance.
