Help native wildlife in the Upper Hunter

I’m fundraising to protect Australian native wildlife!

I'm a local WIRES Wildlife Rescuer and I care deeply for our native wildlife in our local Muswellbrook and Singleton areas. Spring and Summer are our busiest months, and we are frequently overwhelmed with young joeys and pups in need of specialist care. These numbers have been increasingly steadily over the past few years, particularly during floods, bushfires, extreme heat and starvation events.

The native animals who come into our care truly have nothing. They've borne the brunt of relentless habitat loss, making them more vulnerable to the daily horrors of our human-dominated world.

We are constantly in need of specialist care and rescue equipment, including; avaries, rehabilitation enclosures, feeders and even  humidicribs which are able to regulate temperatures for very young infants and keep them warm and safe. Your support will enable us to give a second chance of life for our young native infants that come into our care.
