50km for Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation!

By Sascha

I’m fundraising to protect Australian native wildlife!

There's the few we see, but there's the tens of thousands we don't see.

From possums and kangaroos hit by cars, with joey's left to try to fend for themselves in hope that help arrives in time, from koalas burnt and severely injured from devastating bush fires, to even birds and bats being entangled in netting, barbed wire, or fishing line - causing deep cuts, broken wings, or slow deaths.

Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation is such an important part of maintaining our thriving native environment, by saving our native fauna.

Wildlife Rescue organisations often don't recieve government funding, and if they do, it is incredibly minimal. That's why they reach out to us, the community, to assist in being able to continue their work that often goes unnoticed, but is so crucial for our ecosystem, and the little lives they save every day.

I'm raising funds for WIRES while I walk 50km throughout April... And I'm hoping you can be apart of the great work that WIRES does by supporting me with even a small donation to reach my target.

Every cent counts, every little life is worth trying to save.

Thank you 💚
