We're fundraising to protect Australian native wildlife!
We will be supporting WIRES Wildlife Rescue Blue Mountains over the coming months, so they can continue their vital animal rescue service for our sick, injured and orphaned native wildlife. WIRES Blue Mountains wildlife carers work around the clock to rescue distressed native wildlife, often travelling long distances and often through the night. They've sustained us during the Black Summer bushfires, rescuing countless of animals in critical rescue situations. Please donate so they can sustain their 24/7, 365 days rescue service.

Open Day Update — Thank You for Supporting WIRES!
Tuesday 9th SepAt Lemon Balm Clinic, we’re passionate about healing — not just in the treatment room, but in how we connect with each other and the world around us.
Our Open Day on 6 September 2025 was a wonderful success! With so many of you attending, trying mini treatments, and buying raffle tickets to win a complementary session, we raised $410 for WIRES Blue Mountains. Even more rewarding was meeting so many new people from our community and sharing the therapies we love — from acupuncture and remedial massage to Bowen therapy, craniosacral therapy and psychotherapy.
While we’re thrilled with this result, we’d love to raise even more to support WIRES’ vital work caring for our local wildlife. Every contribution helps their volunteers rescue, rehabilitate, and protect sick, injured, and orphaned animals in the Blue Mountains.
If you weren’t able to attend our Open Day, or if you’d like to give a little extra, please consider donating to our WIRES fundraiser page. Together, we can continue to extend the circle of care — for people, animals, and the environment alike.
Thank you to everyone who joined us, supported our fundraising efforts, and helped make this event so special.
With warmth,
The Team at Lemon Balm Clinic

Why Lemon Balm Clinic Is Supporting WIRES Blue Mountains
Wednesday 28th MayAt Lemon Balm Clinic, we’re passionate about healing — and not just in the treatment room. As a team of dedicated practitioners offering acupuncture, remedial massage, Bowen therapy, craniosacral therapy, inner space techniques, and psychotherapy, we understand that true wellness is deeply interconnected. It includes how we care for ourselves, each other, and the world around us.
This year, for our Open Day on 6 September 2025, we’re proud to be supporting WIRES Blue Mountains, raising funds to help protect and care for our local wildlife.
Living and working in the Blue Mountains, we are surrounded daily by the beauty and richness of nature. The land, the bush, and the animals are part of what makes this place so special. But our native wildlife faces constant threats — from car accidents and habitat loss to extreme weather events and bushfires.
WIRES does incredible work responding to emergencies, rescuing and rehabilitating sick, injured, and orphaned animals. In the Blue Mountains, their local volunteers are often the first on the scene — offering care, safety, and a second chance to our most vulnerable wild neighbours.
Choosing WIRES as the recipient of our Open Day fundraising felt like a natural extension of our values. Just as we support the healing of our human clients, we also want to support the broader ecosystem we’re all part of. Wellness is never just about one person — it’s about relationship, connection, and community, both human and non-human.
Our Open Day will be a chance for you to meet our practitioners, try out some of the therapies we offer, enjoy mini treatments, and connect with our beautiful space. It’s also a chance to give back — with all funds raised going directly to WIRES Blue Mountains.
If you can’t make it on the day but would like to support this vital cause, please consider donating through our fundraiser page. Every donation helps WIRES continue their compassionate and essential work.
Thank you for being part of our community. Together, we can extend the circle of care a little wider.
With warmth,
The Team at Lemon Balm Clinic
